Teresa Borkowska
Teresa Borkowska is a Fellow at the Institute of International Economic Law at Georgetown University Law Center working on her LL.M. in International Legal Studies. Among her many accomplishments, Ms. Borkowska is in the process of obtaining her Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Law on the Internet and holds a Master in Law in International and European Law. Her vast experience includes holding positions as: the Head of the European Law Section, Law and Treaty Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Poland; the Senior Expert at the Department of the European Union in Poland; an Expert at the Department of European Integration and Accession Negotiations, Office of Poland’s Prime Minister; and Assistant to the Chief Advisor to Poland’s Prime Minister on International Affairs. She has lectured at the Tischner European University in Krakow on the subject of the “European Union Law and the European Integration” and served as a legal advisor to the Supervisory Board at the Center for International and Local Studies in Warsaw, Poland. She speaks five languages.
