1st International Advocacy Forum date: 2022-10-21
1st International Advocacy Forum in Krakow on October 20-22, 2022 will be held in a hybrid format- allowing for both in person participation in Krakow and on-line.
Independence of the Bar Association as the prerequisite of the rule of law is the subject of this Forum. Both systemic guarantees of the independence and the responses of the bar association in face of the current war and humanitarian crisis will be discussed.
Krakow Bar Association has pledged 50 % of the on-line participation fee for the Ukraine Aid Found which will be used to pay for the temporary housing for Ukrainian lawyers whose homes were destroyed (trailers), another ambulance with medical supplies and/or other humanitarian aid.
