Passing of professor Jan Z. Krasnowiecki, retired JLS memberdate: 2019-12-09

Professor Jan Z. Krasnowiecki was not only very accomplished in his professional life but was also known as a decent, kind, and funny human being. May he rest in peace.

He was born in Poland, educated at Oxford and the Harvard Law School and served as faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  He was veteran of the Korean War and a partner at two major Philadelphia law firms.  His specialized in real estate law.
